After spending 25 years in philanthropy working for Mustard Seed Foundation (a family foundation based in Northern Virginia) Lonni Jackson joined Five Talents in August, 2023.  Lonni’s passion for stewardship began when he served on the Missions Commission at Washington Community Fellowship Church in Washington, DC in the early 1990’s.  Most recently he has served on the Steering Committee of Professionals in Christian Philanthropy, a trade association of Christian foundation staff who represent nearly 100 foundations globally.  

Lonni holds a BA (History) from Seattle Pacific University and a MA (International Transactions) from George Mason University.  Lonni and his wife Cheryl have three adult children and live in Falls Church, Virginia.  He loves international travel, discussing good literature and (as a native of Seattle) is a loyal – and sometimes long-suffering – Seattle Seahawks fan.
