volunteer resource coordinator

A Volunteer Resource Coordinator serves Five Talents with their expertise in managing volunteer resources. This includes directly managing volunteers, and/or providing guidance, support, resources and tools to staff who supervise volunteers.

Community Outreach Assistant

Represents Five Talents at various table exhibit events such as fairs or conferences.

Qualifications: Must be a personal Five Talents supporter and knowledgeable about Five Talents history, mission and purpose. Training resources will be provided. Up-beat personality, pleasant speaking manner, dependable.

Donor outreach specialist

Contacts Five Talents Donors to thank them for their support and/or attendance at an event.

Qualifications: Must be a personal Five Talents supporter and knowledgeable about Five Talents history, mission and purpose. Training resources will be provided. Up-beat personality, pleasant speaking manner, dependable. A suggested call script will be provided.

Assists Five Talents by ensuring that it has the most current and accurate information about its donor base.

Responsibilities:

  • Researches information related to Five Talents' donor base via the Internet

  • Inputs collected data into an electronic spreadsheet or Five Talent's donor management database (Raiser's Edge)

  • Ensures that all data is entered accurately

  • Maintains the confidentiality of all data entered

Donor Relations consultant


Serves Five Talents with expertise in running fundraising campaigns using volunteer advocates and a small dedicated staff.

The Length of Appointment: The ideal time commitment is 8-10 hours per week for six months. We can accommodate flexibility in this time commitment. After six months, the Campaign Consultant may be reappointed for another six months.

Fundraising Campaign Consultant


Conducts research to provide detailed information of prospective institutional donors (foundations, churches, dioceses).

Qualifications: Basic knowledge of computer, web research and data entry. Pleasant manner, patience, problem-solving ability, dependability, and passion for helping the poor.

Time Commitment: The ideal time commitment is 8-10 hours per week for three months. We can accommodate flexibility.

Research Consultant


Gain experience and develop and learn skills in social media marketing and digital communications. He/she will work to raise awareness and promote the work of Five Talents by helping to develop copy, graphics, and video content, and by strengthening online engagement across a variety of online and social media platforms.

Volunteer Resource Coordinator


Assists with basic office operations and event planning, organization, and execution.

Responsibilities:

  • The Ops & Event Coordinator answers the phone and directs calls.

  • Assists the Board Chair/ CEO in scheduling appointments.

  • Coordinates Event planning (organizes the logistics and executes the event): breakfasts, church events, speaking engagements, etc.

  • Maintains office supplies and makes necessary orders
