I hope all of you had a good Mother’s Day yesterday.
I think of all the mothers around the world taking care of their families, and I am very grateful. In addition to my own mother who still amazes me, I am especially grateful for the women who have had the courage to become new entrepreneurs, saving their money, starting new businesses, and transforming the lives around them.
Please enjoy this very brief video of some of these wonderful women in South Sudan.
In addition to learning how to read, write, and run small businesses, the women in this savings group are developing sewing skills and producing clothing, household items, and works of art. Their community savings provides the capital to build and continually grow their businesses.
Until next Monday,
Dale Stanton-Hoyle,
