You Are Never Too Old to Learn

Dear friends,

Time for a Fresh Start

We’re about to start a whole new year, and it makes me excited about the potential of a new start. How will we use the gift of this new time?

It makes me think of the courage and the strength of many of our new entrepreneurs. How they are willing to take risks—starting afresh—at things I would be hesitant to try.

A Grandmother Leads the Way

Above is a picture of a woman who is a grandmother from the Karamoja area in Uganda, one of the poorest regions in the country. She lives among a pastoralist community—a nomadic people who travel with their herds—and she took in a baby orphan, which is the child in the picture with her. She is participating in one of our new programs in the area and is currently in a Five Talents literacy class. You are never too old to learn!

May it be the same for us in this New Year.

Until next Monday morning,

Dale Stanton-Hoyle,
Executive Director

P.S. It’s not too late for you to make a difference in the lives of these new entrepreneurs. If you haven’t already, please contribute now while we have our matching funds available through December 31st at midnight. Thanks!
