Dear friends,
As I look back on Labor Day this last week, I think of how Henry David Thoreau once commented on how we can get tied up in our work.
He says we sometimes labor under a mistake, until eventually ashes return to ashes and dust becomes dust. We are employed as the old book (the Bible) says “laying up treasures which moth and rust will corrupt and thieves break through and steal.”
The Freedom to Work
It can be a real blessing when we give ourselves the freedom to turn from labor and try to follow what God would have us do. Two years ago I left my work as an engineer and started working for Five Talents. It has been a real blessing for me and for over 1 million people around the world since Five Talents began. Is there something new and different that God may be calling you to look at as well?
In the meantime, I hope you’ll join me in this journey. If you know anyone you can help introduce to Five Talents, then I shamelessly ask you to please connect us. May this be a blessing for all of us!
Until next Monday morning,
Dale Stanton-Hoyle,
Executive Director
