Being the Hands and Feet of Christ

Hi there,

caring for those in need

Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers – that you do until me. When I was hungry you gave me something to eat. When I was thirsty, you gave me something to drink.

Sharing Good News with the Poor

What does it mean to be the hands and feet of Christ to the poor, the sick, the lonely, the oppressed? In the countries where we serve, we see men and women living out the call to love their neighbors as themselves. It’s inspiring to say the least. Especially when I think about how little they have to begin with.

In this week’s 80-second video, we hear from Harriet Baka, one of our program partners in South Sudan. She shares how women there, specifically mothers, are living out the Gospel.

I pray this encourages you and inspires you and your congregation, particularly in these times.

With joy,
