Growing our Outreach Together
This week, a group of Five Talents leaders are training trainers in Myanmar. Meanwhile a new Five Talents program is kicking off in the Diocese of Terekeka, South Sudan, and Five Talents is exploring significant expansion in Tanzania. Thank you for helping to make all of this possible!
The need for Five Talents programs continues to be great. A young woman named Rachel shared with one of our program leaders in South Sudan yesterday: "It is not enough to come to school (to learn to read and write) when your children are dying of poverty. We want to have something so that we can take care of our children better than we can now."
Rachel has already completed adult literacy and trauma healing courses, and she is eager to start the next phase in her community, which is the formation of savings groups and business-skills training.
