Sarah Nuñez joined the Five Talents team in April 2019. She is excited to use her gifts to help the organization manage and track its financial resources while supporting Five Talents as it serves those in places of extreme poverty around the world.

Sarah grew up in Northern Virginia and returned to the area six years ago after living in southwest Virginia most of her adult life. Graduating from Virginia Tech with a degree in Environmental Resource Management, she worked for several years with the Chesapeake Bay Program, where she first became acquainted with the level of passion and commitment required to work in a nonprofit organization. She then worked two years for Hope Tree Family Services in their Development Department, assisting with fundraising and management of the Raisers Edge database. For the next 12 years, she was the database coordinator for Junior Achievement and was responsible for volunteer tracking as well as program reporting to the national office. And for the past six years, she has worked for a Quickbooks Pro-advisor providing bookkeeping services to numerous small business, churches and nonprofits.

Sarah and her husband Rod have two sons, Ben (18) and Sam (16). Her husband is the youth pastor at Christ Church Vienna and they stay busy hosting and ministering to students in their community. Sarah also enjoys music, reading, gardening, watching her boys play lacrosse and basketball, and taking long walks with her dog Timmy.
