DANA Wichterman, BOARD MEMBER

Dana brings a wealth of experience in international poverty alleviation and economic development to her service with Five Talents. Dana actively works alongside non-profits, government, think tanks and the marketplace to bring redemptive solutions to national and global challenges.

Dana has a Master’s in International Relations from Columbia University. She served 15 years on a variety of U.S. Agency for International Development government contracts, managing over 30 staff and $60 million in foreign aid projects across the globe, and representing multiple sectors (economic, peace, health, agriculture, etc.). She is skilled at monitoring & evaluation, research and analysis, and making policy recommendations in economic development, microenterprise, trade, investment, and sustainability. Previously, she was at the U.S. Department of Commerce, helping to craft and implement trade policy in U.S. field offices, DOC headquarters in D.C, and at the World Trade Organization in Switzerland.

Dana and her husband are passionate about impact investing, particularly how to support the faith-driven investor and entrepreneur ecosystem in bringing solutions to global problems. Dana and her husband are members of Christ Church Vienna. Dana is delighted to join the Five Talents Board. She said, “I am eager to be a part of Five Talent’s mission of creating dignified pathways to meaningful entrepreneurship for those on the margins.”
