Kimberly Pacala, Board Chair
Kimberly Pacala has been a Five Talents Board member since 2010, and her extensive experience in fundraising strategy has been key to the organization’s development.
Kim’s interest in serving the poor in developing countries stems from a St. Lawrence University semester abroad experience in Nairobi, Kenya in spring, 1977. Kim graduated St. Lawrence with a bachelor’s degree, majoring in government.
Her career in non-profit fund-raising started at Harvard Business School, followed by DePaul University, the Wolf Trap Foundation and The College of William and Mary. She recently directed an $18 million capital campaign for the Silver Bay YMCA on Lake George, New York.
Kim is a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church in McLean, VA and currently serves as chair of the Stewardship Committee. She also enjoys singing in the choir.
Kim and her husband, Mark, split their time between their homes in Virginia, and Silver Bay, NY. She has three adult children and three beautiful granddaughters.
